Lewis Capaldi has announced he will be playing a massive gig at London’s O2 later this year. The Scottish singer-songwriter will headline the venue on October 2 following his meteoric rise to fame and BRIT Awards success. The concert will make Capaldi’s biggest headline show to date.
Over the past two years, the musician has risen from playing bars and small venues to headlining arenas and festivals around the world.
His first string of UK headline shows is just around the corner, with tickets having sold out in seconds despite going on sale before his debut album was even released.
Capaldi’s sold-out headline dates run from March 2 until March 15.
He is also on the roster for a number of a festivals this summer, including Isle Of Wight, Parklife and Belsonic.
The album was certified platinum within 10 weeks and has since gone double platinum.
It has also held onto its place in the top 10 in the charts since its release last May.
