This evening’s Britain’s Got Talent results saw magic act 4MG make it through to the final on the public vote, while comedian Siobhan Phillips was put through by the judges.
Siobhan was clearly overwhelmed at having made it through, but managed to have a humorous exchange with Dec as he spoke to her after she learnt the exciting news.
Dec asked Siobhan what could be expected from her and her act in Sunday’s finale.
She joked that she’d be incorporating a pole into her next performance on the ITV talent contest and they were “erecting it” right then and there.
Dec then cheekily told the hopeful: “We look forward to your erection on Sunday. I think I can say that.”
But it was clear Dec wasn’t sure as he asked again: “Can I say that? Yeah, I can say that.”
While Ant McPartlin chimed in to add: “He said it!”
Those watching at home certainly seemed tickled by the exchange and took to Twitter to comment.
“‘I’m looking forward to your erection’ bet you never thought you’d say that dec @antanddec #bgt,” one said.
Another exclaimed: “#bgt Dec looking forward to Siobhan’s erection!”
“Explaining what Dec meant by erection to two children. #BGT2019 #BGT,” a third shared.
While a fourth declared: “Dec: ‘We look forward to your erection on Sunday! Can I say that?’ Ant: ‘You’ve already said it’ Love #BGT man!”
It comes after Amanda Holden was so spooked during The Haunting’s performance yesterday, she swore on stage.
The judge later apologised to viewers for her use of the word “f**k”.
Joining Siobhan and the 4MG boys in the final is Dave and Finn along with Flakefleet Primary School choir.
