Ex-Italy boss Prandelli takes cost at Genoa as Juric exits once more | Soccer


Genoa have confirmed Cesare Prandelli as their new boss to switch Ivan Juric, who misplaced his job following a shock Coppa Italia exit in midweek.

The Serie A aspect – who haven’t recorded a win since September 30 – misplaced a penalty shoot-out towards third-tier aspect Virtus Entella to tumble out of the competitors on Thursday.

Juric was appointed head coach for the third time in two years initially of October, returning to the function following the dismissal of Davide Ballardini.

Nonetheless, the Croatian has now been changed by Prandelli, the previous Italy coach’s appointment confirmed by the membership in an announcement launched on Friday.

The 61-year-old is again working in his homeland for the primary time since leaving his job with the Azzurri after they didn’t qualify for the knockout levels on the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Prandelli – who has had brief spells with Galatasaray, Valencia and Al-Nasr previously 4 years – will start his reign with a house fixture towards SPAL on Sunday.
