Final week Arduino AG, the holding firm for the open supply Arduino mission, introduced that CEO Federico Musto stepped down, to get replaced with Mr. Massimo Banzi as new Chairman and CTO of Arduino and Dr. Fabio Violante as CEO.
The transfer comes after the maker group discovered troubling discrepancies in Musto’s academic claims.
“That is the start of a brand new period for Arduino through which we are going to strengthen and renew our dedication to open supply and software program, whereas in parallel setting the corporate on a sound monetary course of sustainable development. Our imaginative and prescient stays to proceed to allow anyone to innovate with electronics for a very long time to come back,” stated Mr Banzi.
The maker group vocally complained about former CEO Musto’s claims to be an NYU and MIT graduate and apprehensive about the way forward for the open supply mission. It’s unclear whether or not these claims had something to do with Musto’s ouster.
