Fortnite is down right now with hundreds of Battle Royale players hit by matchmaking and server connection issues.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has registered hundreds of Fortnite down issues.
Out of those affected some 97 per cent of Fortnite fans are experiencing server connection problems.
The official Fortnite status page also says the game right now is experiencing degraded matchmaking and game services performance.
As the latest Fortnite server issues hit Battle Royale players took to Twitter to report issues with the game.
One fan tweeted: “Hey @FortniteGame, Your servers good…? Been in a regular match queue for about 15 minutes #Fortnite”.
Another posted: “Anyone else not able to queue for a game in fortnite? Just says “Waiting for server” and then says that there is no battle buses? @FortniteGame @EpicGames”.
And one added: “My servers for Fortnite aren’t working”.
In the Epic Games Public Status page, the Fortnite makers have been giving updates on the latest Battle Royale server issues.
In their initial post about the server issues, Epic said: “We’re aware of an issue causing matchmaking failures in certain regions across multiple modes.
“We’re investigating the issue and will provide an update when it is fixed.”
And in a recent update, posted just after 6pm BST, the Fortnite makers added: “We are continuing to investigate this issue.”
