This week will see new Xbox One free games added to the official Games with Gold December 2019 lineup. As confirmed by Microsoft earlier this year, a total of four games will be available to download for no extra charge, if you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. The official lineup is getting refreshed this week, providing the final games of the month. And it won’t be long before Xbox One gamers can try out their own park building skills.

Jurassic World Evolution will be joining Insane Robots on Xbox One on Monday, December 16, 2019.

Jurassic World Evolution launched in 2018 and lets gamers build their own dinosaur attractions.

It comes with a number of different DLC packs to purchase and weighs in at around 12GB on Xbox One.

The new Games with Gold launch coincides with the release of new downloadable content added to the game last month.

Return to Jurrasic Park is available to add to your game now and adds content that fits with the original film.

“Following the events of the iconic 1993 film, you are invited to return to the island where it all started,” the official DLC pack description explains.

“Reclaim the park from the dinosaurs, rebuild beloved locations, and overcome brand new challenges guided by Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Dr. Ian Malcolm in an original narrative voiced by the film cast.

“The pack features Jurassic Park-inspired attractions such as the Main Gates and Jurassic Park Tour, two new dinosaurs (the Compsognathus and Pteranodon), legacy skin variants, and much more.

“In addition, you can also replay all existing Jurassic World Evolution challenge and sandbox levels with a 1993-inspired overlay and inventory.”

The good news is that Jurassic World will be available to download until January 2020 and also launches alongside a new Xbox 360 game.

Toy Story 3 is being replaced with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD on December 16.

“The story of the Belmont family is revealed in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD,” the Microsoft description reads.

“Battle destiny across generations as Trevor Belmont, knight of the Brotherhood of Light.

“Driven by vengeance for his slain mother, faceoff against his father, Gabriel, the all-powerful Dracula.

“War is declared in a cataclysmic battle between father and son in this epic follow-up to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.”

This new content change on Xbox Live Gold will be followed by a new range of discounts being released by Microsoft.

There’s been no hint from the tech giant on what new titles will be included in Deals with Gold.

But there’s a chance of a bumper crop of titles due to the holidays closing in and the chances of more Xbox One console owners on December 25.

And it won’t be long before we find out what the first free games of 2020 will be on Xbox One.

Microsoft is expected to make an announcement in the coming weeks and before January 2020.

Gamers may have to wait until the end of the month for the news, depending on how the holiday season affects the schedule.
