James Jordan, 41, revealed he was watching the new series of Love Island 2019 last night with his wife, Ola Jordan.
And the Dancing On Ice winner, who appears to be a big fan of the show, wasn’t happy when he tuned into Jeremy Vine on Channel 5 today as he claimed they were “talking c**p” about the dating programme.
James tweeted in view of his 252,000 followers: “Everyone talking crap on Jeremy Vine about @LoveIsland.”
He added: “If you don’t like it don’t watch it! Such a lefty show.”
On the current affairs show, presenter Jeremy, 54, lead a debate about whether there should be more diversity on Love Island.
One of the panelists, Daily Star columnist Dawn Neesom, said she “loves” the show and called it a “pure escapism”.
While broadcaster, Jasmine Dotiwala, said she could see both arguments and added it doesn’t reflect reality.
Monty Panesar, former England cricketer, said: “Love Island is a brand itself.”
Jeremy then went over to talk to a disability rights campaigner who disagreed with the show and said the media should represent everyone.
Fans calling in to join the debate also said they would like to see people of different shapes and sizes.
Meanwhile, James took to Twitter to comment on the first episode of Love Island as he watched it unfold last night.
And one of this year’s contestants made an impression on the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant as he spoke about surfer Lucie Donlan.
He tweeted: “In my opinion Lucie is in a different league to the rest of the girls so far. #Loveisland2019.”
Just before, James uploaded a selfie with his wife, Ola, as they got ready to watch the reality show.
The dancer could be seen smiling to the camera whilst wearing a striped monochrome top.
His wife, Ola, appeared relaxed with her highlighted blonde locks in a messy bun, dressed in a khaki vest top.
James captioned it: “Ready for @LoveIsland with @The_OlaJordan.”
One of his fans replied to his snap: “I don’t get why so many people are into this never watched and don’t plan to either.”
Defending the show, James responded: “If you don’t watch it you will never know.”
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
