The 2 will substitute Aroldis Chapman and Corey Kluber, who’re inactive for Tuesday’s All-Star Sport. This marks the primary time Morton and Snell have been named to an All-Star workforce.
Morton, who’s in his 11th MLB season and second with the Astros, is 11-2 with a 2.96 ERA and has 146 strikeouts.

Snell has a 12-5 document with an ERA of two.27, which is third amongst AL starters. The younger ace has performed for the Rays in all three of his main league seasons.
